Why is the time shown in MT4/MT5 different from my local/device time?

The time shown on the MT4/MT5 platform is based on the trading server’s time zone. It operates on:

GMT+2 during Standard Time (November to March)
GMT+3 during Daylight Saving Time (March to November)

Before any seasonal time adjustment takes place, Moneta Markets will inform clients in advance via email and announcements on the official website.

Please note that MetaTrader does not provide an option to change the platform time to your local time zone. Installing third-party tools that claim to modify server time may lead to data inconsistencies or synchronization problems.

Minor time differences may also occur due to regional network conditions or connection stability. To ensure better synchronization with the trading server, we recommend maintaining a stable and reliable internet connection.
