You may be unable to withdraw your funds because a temporary security cool-off period has been triggered after certain security details on your account were changed. During this period, withdrawals and internal transfers are restricted as an automated security measure.
What Triggers a Security Cool-Off Period?
To help protect your account and safeguard your funds against unauthorized access, the following account changes trigger a temporary withdrawal restriction:
- Client Portal login password: Withdrawals are disabled for 24 hours.
- Email address or phone number: Withdrawals are disabled for 48 hours.
- Security Authenticator App: Reconnecting your 2FA device disables withdrawals for 48 hours.
These restrictions are applied automatically and cannot be manually overridden.
How to Check the Remaining Restriction Time
If you attempt to make a restricted withdrawal or internal transfer during the security cool-off period, a pop-up will display the remaining time until the restriction is lifted.
Once the cool-off period has ended, you can submit your withdrawal request again.
What Should I Do?
- Check whether you recently changed your login password, email address, phone number, or reconnected your 2FA device.
- If a security cool-off period is active, wait until the displayed restriction period has ended.
- Once the restriction is lifted, submit your withdrawal request again.
-
If you still cannot withdraw after the cool-off period has ended, contact Customer Support for further assistance.
