If an order or trading button appears greyed out on your platform, it generally means that it isn’t active or tradable at that moment and cannot be executed immediately. This can happen for several common reasons:
Market is closed or outside trading hours for that instrument.
Insufficient margin or funds in your account to place the order.
The symbol isn’t currently active or selected for trading.
Your account isn’t fully connected or logged in properly (for example, logged in with investor access)
Your order size or conditions don’t meet requirements, such as minimum lot size or instrument rules.
In these cases, the platform shows the order in grey to indicate it’s not currently actionable. Check the trading hours, your account balance and margin, and ensure you’re logged in with an enabled trading account.
