No. Once a trading account has been created, its account type and base currency cannot be changed.

If you wish to use a different account type or base currency, you can open an additional trading account under your existing profile. There is no need to create a new profile or register a new account.

Important Conditions

• Account type, platform and base currency are fixed when a trading account is created.
• Existing trading accounts cannot be converted to a different base currency.

• If you open a new trading account, you may transfer funds between your trading accounts where applicable.

   

What Should I Do?

If you would like to use a different account type or base currency:

1. Log in to the Client Portal.
2. Navigate to Account > Open Account.
   
3. Select your preferred account type and base currency.
   
4. Complete the application to create your new trading account.
5. If required, transfer funds from your existing trading account to your new trading account.
