Will my account leverage be automatically adjusted?

Yes, your account leverage may be automatically adjusted under certain conditions. If there are big market movements or important news events, like major economic updates, elections, or global events, Moneta Markets might temporarily or permanently change the leverage on some trading instruments. If this happens, you’ll be informed ahead of time by email or through in-platform announcements.

Leverage can also adjust automatically depending on the amount of equity in your account. For instance, if you're trading with 1000:1 leverage and your equity reaches or exceeds USD 20,000, the system will automatically reduce your leverage to 500:1 to help manage risk.
